St. Etienne 2-0 Monaco: Can this team get a bailout?
By: Richard | October 6th, 2008
St. Etienne 2 (Gomis 11, Dernis 83)
AS Monaco 0
Yes, bailout jokes are lame and unimaginitive, but uninspired play deserves uninspired jokes. But seriously, why not Monaco? They’re rich, they’ve invested poorly…perfect bailout candidates, if you ask me. And friends, there is a full-blown goal recession at ASM these days. That’s 360 minutes of rotting twine, if you’re keeping score (it’s not like there’s anything else to keep score of). Maybe we can get the Eredivisie to donate some of its goals to Monaco as part of a European Union redistribution of wealth project. I’ll willing to try anything at this point. Please give to the Monaco Goal Famine Relief Fund. Tap-ins, headers, any spare goals you have lying around…no donation is too small. Shoot, I’d even accept a Robbie Keane goal complete with silly somersault and six-shooter celebration.
Do you want to know what happened in this game? Read the last couple of posts and change the name of the opponents. Happy? Me neither.
Next up: home versus our hated rivals Nice. that ought to go well….

Considering the young attacking talent the club has, how is it that Ricardo continues to stop the team from doing anything that will let them win. I say fire him, he is an awful coach with shitty tactics.

LOL. I have this constant notion that Monaco is too rich to need a bailout.
Do you know why Ricardo left Bordeaux? Um, yeah.
