Another new player, etc.
By: Richard | July 23rd, 2008
Well, a new-ish player, anyway. 25 year-old Ivorian defensive midfielder Jean-Jacques Gosso impressed Ricardo and the ASM board during his trial to earn a 3-year contract. Gosso had been previously playing his football in Israel.
According to various sources, Freddy will wear number 20 at Monaco.
Today we play l’OM at Cannes. Here are the available players for the match: Roma, Ruffier - Adriano, Mongongu, Modesto, Legati, Monsoreau, Cufré, Muratori - Pokrivac, Perez, Zola, Gosso, Thomas, Diaz, Meriem, Martin, Mollo - Piquionne, Pino, Nimani, Sagbo.

Jean-Jacques Gosso isn’t getting me excited. Neither is Freddy Adu if he wasn’t American. I hope there’s some better signings to come. I know they are going with the youth now rather than their usual policy of established foreign imports. We’ll see how it turns out.

adu actually looks like he is coming along a bit. he is the only creative player for the us. he could be a super sub for you guys.
anyways, the reason i dropped in is because i wanted an expert opinion on jeremy menez. roma are supposedly interested and im sure nothing will come of it, but i just wanted to know what you guys thought of him as a player? did he have a serious injury last year (broken leg or blown out knee, i think i remember hearing something)?
